Refund Eligibility

Our refund eligibility varies depending on the type of service and the circumstances of the refund request:

Cancellation Refunds

If you need to cancel a scheduled styling service, the following refund terms apply:

  • Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service: You will receive a full refund of the service fee.
  • Cancellations made between 24-48 hours before the scheduled service: You will receive a 50% refund of the service fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled service: No refund will be provided.

Service Quality Refunds

If you are dissatisfied with the quality of our services, you may be eligible for a refund under the following conditions:

  • You must notify us of your dissatisfaction within 48 hours of the service completion.
  • The reason for dissatisfaction must be specific and related to the agreed-upon scope of services.
  • You must provide clear evidence or explanation of how the service did not meet the agreed standards.

Each quality-related refund request is evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We may offer:

  • A full refund if we determine the service fell significantly short of our standards
  • A partial refund proportionate to the extent of the issue
  • An opportunity to receive the service again at no additional cost

Non-Refundable Items

The following are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Completed digital styling services: Once digital styling guides or recommendations have been delivered and received, they are not eligible for refunds.
  • No-shows: If you fail to attend a scheduled appointment without prior notice, you will not be eligible for a refund.
  • Services partially completed at client's request: If a service is stopped or abbreviated at your request, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion.
  • Styling packages after the first service has been delivered: Refunds for multi-session packages are prorated for unused sessions only.

Refund Process

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide your full name, the date of service, and your booking reference number.
  3. Clearly state the reason for your refund request.
  4. Include any relevant documentation or evidence to support your request (if applicable).

Refund Processing Timeline

Once your refund request is received and approved:

  • We will process the refund within 5-7 business days.
  • The refund will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
  • Depending on your payment provider, it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account.

You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been processed.

Rescheduling Policy

As an alternative to cancellation and refund, we offer the option to reschedule your service:

  • Rescheduling more than 48 hours before the scheduled service: You may reschedule at no additional cost, subject to availability.
  • Rescheduling between 24-48 hours before the scheduled service: You may reschedule with a £25 rescheduling fee.
  • Rescheduling less than 24 hours before the scheduled service: You may reschedule with a £50 rescheduling fee.

Rescheduling is subject to stylist availability. We recommend rescheduling as early as possible to secure your preferred date and time.

Special Circumstances

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond your control (such as serious illness, accident, or bereavement) that prevent you from attending your appointment, we may consider a full refund or rescheduling without penalty. Supporting documentation may be required.

Service Cancellation by Sensor Array

If Sensor Array needs to cancel a service due to stylist illness, emergency, or other unavoidable circumstances:

  • We will offer you the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
  • If rescheduling is not possible or desirable, we will provide a full refund.
  • In some cases, we may offer a discount on future services as compensation for the inconvenience.

Gift Certificates and Promotional Credits

The following policies apply to gift certificates and promotional credits:

  • Gift certificates: These are non-refundable but are transferable to another person. Gift certificates are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.
  • Promotional credits or discounts: These are non-refundable and cannot be converted to cash. They must be used within the specified validity period.

Exceptions to the Refund Policy

Sensor Array reserves the right to make exceptions to this refund policy at our discretion. Any exceptions will be handled on a case-by-case basis and do not constitute a change in our overall policy or create a precedent for future refund requests.

Sensor Array reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
